Dan & I (Shannon) Nevin started Aspen Creek Heating & Air in 2010 and ran it out of our house in Broomfield Heights until January of 2025, when we moved it to the Lafayette/Broomfield border off Flagg Dr and Baseline. Dan has been in the HVAC business since 1998, and I have a degree in Creative Writing from CSU and decades of experience with customer service. When coming up with a name for the company back in 2010, I polled a bunch of locals on Facebook, and “Aspen Creek” came out far ahead as it was familiar and local. Who doesn’t love Aspen trees? (a close second was “Ass Crack HVAC,” but that wasn’t the image we were going for…ha) We’ve raised three kids in Broomfield, and two of them have joined the ACH&A team as service technicians/installers. Since then, we love our repeat customers and have built solid friendships/relationships with many people from Thornton to Boulder. We strive to be honest and competent in all repairs, estimates, and installations, and we want to be the heating and air company you feel comfortable referring your mom to.
